Drawing inspiration from the grand architectural style of the Royal Palace of Mysore, The Leela Palace Bengaluru is built in an art-deco form, adorned with copper domes, arches, and ornate ceilings that reflect the grandeur of the palaces of a bygone era. The Yakshagana dancers perform from the verses to the beats of Carnatic music, as the day slips into the night. The ceremonial rituals culminate with the lighting of the Diya by four graceful ladies beautifully draped in Karnataka’s traditional attire, against the chanting of a prayer of peace, harmony and prosperity.
